Hello, so I am back with another review and today I am reviewing the Sanctuary Thermal Detox Mask. This is quite hyped in the blogger world and it seems like everyone and anyone has tried this, so you don't really need another review but I thought I would share my thoughts.

It is essentially a mask that heats up on application and you only need to leave it on for 5 minutes.

"The warmth of this Sanctuary Thermal Detox self-heating mask helps to open up the pores so the charcoal and kaolin clay can help draw out the impurities from deep within the skin."

This is how the boots website describes the mask and to be honest I can't really agree or disagree. I don't know if it does open my pores and I'm not really sure if impurities are drawn out. But what I can say is that my skin feels so soft after using the mask. I do find that after you use this mask your skin can be prone to breakouts, which is only expected with a detox mask. But overall I really enjoy using this mask and would really recommend it. It is £10 (buy here) which is a little steep but it is a lovely treat.

If you've used this I would love to know your thoughts, and if you know of any cheaper dupes comment below.

Also I'm following back at the moment :)

  1. This sounds like a more affordable version of the Origin's Clear Improvements Charcoal mask, which full size retails at £23(!) which also aims to clear congested skin, and pores. I think you just found yourself a dupe with this Sanctuary product! :)
