FASHION WISHLIST

I have been struggling with both bad breakouts and scarring really badly for the past year or so, I have been trying so many different products to help combat this and so I had to pick this up. The La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo has been a firm favourite within the beauty world for a long time so I was excited to try this. It isn't the cheapest of products but if it works it's worth it.

The product itself is described to do a world of good, from controlling shine to correcting the appearance of blemishes. I have been using this for about a month and I feel in two minds about it. Firstly I do think that it has helped with both my blemishes and scars, both of which have reduced hugely since I started using it. Which is really good, what is says it does. However I find it to be quite drying and it especially affects the skin around my nose making it red and dry. I, admittedly, haven't used it religiously every morning and night for this reason - I don't want it have an adverse affect on the rest of my skin.
To combat this problem I have been using very simple skin care, trying not to use anything too harsh and I have been using with a mouisturiser, this seems to be doing the trick and keeping my skin in good condition.
The product itself is very thin, you don't need a lot as it will spread far. It can be used under make up, however make sure it has absorbed fully as I find if it hasn't rested long enough my make up sits funny. Overall I would recommend this product, I would say the positives definitely outweigh the negatives when it comes to this product. You can purchase here for £15.50.
