My grandma used to make this all the time, and I was craving some recently so I thought I would recreate the recipe.

You will need:

800g Digestive Biscuits
200g Sugar
65g Coco Powder
250ml Water
150g Butter
1 tsp Vanilla Exctract
400g Chocolate

Crush the digestives, I crushed some really finely and some a bit chunkier to give are bit more texture.
Put the sugar, coco powder, water, butter and vanilla extract into a pan, let the butter and stir until well combined, then let the mixture boil for about 8-10 minutes.
Then mix the syrup mixture with the digestives, make sure everything is coated then place in a lined tin. Mine made so much, I literally had two tins worth, so you could half the quantities if you wanted a smaller batch.
Then you want to let this chill for as long as you can wait. I left it in the fridge for 24 hours, to make sure it was completely set.
Then you just need to melt your chocolate and spread on top, again leave it to chill until the chocolate is set and then you're done.

Such an easy recipe and it tastes so good!
