FASHION WISHLIST

Last week was my year 13 Leavers Ball, I really liked my make up so I thought I would share it with you. I went for quite a simple look, a classic winged liner and red lips. I did consider going for a smokey look however I wanted to go for a red lip and I didn't want my make up to be too heavy.

For the base I used Smashbox Photo Finish Primer (here £25.50), this was a new product to me however I have heard so many good things about it. It helped keep my make up on all night. I mainly wanted this to help smooth out my skin and provide a good base for my foundation and I really think it did that. For foundation I used Max Factor Face Finity All Day Foundation (here £12.99), I really like Max Factor foundations, I never hear much about Max Factor but I really think they deserve more credit. This foundation works really nicely on my skin, it blend well and lasts really nicely. I applied this with the Real Techniques Miracle Sponge (here £5.99) which is definitely my favourite way to apply base products now, it just gives the most beautiful finish. For concealer I used the Borjois Healthy Mix Concealer (here £7.99) I love this as it gives a lovely natural, healthy finish and lasts really well. For cheeks I used Hoola Bronzer (here £23.50), which really is the best bronzer I have found for my pale skin, and Revlon Cream Blush in Charmed Enchantment (here £7.99) this gives a beautiful glow that looks really natural and lasts all night.

As for eyes I kept it quite simple using The Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette (here £38.50), I went for a wash of Thirteen over my whole lid, all the way up to my brow bone, and I then blended Combust and Password in my crease for a bit of definition. This palette is stunning and I would definitely recommend it! For my eyeliner I used the Zoeva 317 Winged Liner Brush (here £8.00), this brush is a life saver for doing any kind of liner, it makes it so easy and it makes it look beautiful, I would definitely recommend this brush if you find winged liner difficult because it does most of the work. I used the Maybelline Gel Liner (here £7.99) for the wing, this is my go to product for winged liner it looks so good, applies well and lasts well. As for lashes I used the Eylure Individual Lashes (here £4.95) I prefer individual lashes and I think you can get the look you want and they look more natural, I also find them easier to apply but I know some people do not like them at all! And I topped them off with my Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (here, currently £17.10), this is my favourite mascara at the minute it gives such a beautiful look and doesn't flake away at all.

To finish the look I had to use Mac Ruby Woo (here £15.50), this is my all time favourite lipstick, you can see it's well loved, although it is very drying I think the colour and finish really makes up for it. It lasts so long, even if you are eating and drinking, and the colour is just beautiful.

So that is my make up for my leavers ball, I hope you enjoyed this post and if you have any prom/ball posts definitely let me know I love reading them!
