Hello! Today I thought I would share my review of the Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer. This product is fairly new to me, I have always had my eye on it however I've just never gotten round to actually buying it.

I do like the packaging, it is fairly compact so you can definitely travel with it and it doesn't feel like it will spill if you are travelling. It is quite a thick concealer, so I find it best applied with a damp beauty blender, I use the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge (here £5.99) I love this sponge it works really well and isn't too expensive. I find when I use a sponge I get a more even coverage and it looks much more natural than if I use a brush or my fingers.

The shade is quite yellow, however once blended it looks fine and blends nicely with my complexion. It is also a little dark for my skin, however again when blended it looks absolutely fine, as long as you don't use too much product.

The coverage is really good actually. I would definitely say medium and it is very buildable. It covers dark circles really well and acne scars. On live (is that the right word?) acne it can go quite cakey and really stick to dry pacthes so I wouldn't really recommend it for covering lots of acne. However on any other imperfections it covers them nicely.

The tube actually has an angled applicator, this makes it really nice for applying to under eye circles, however if applying to acne I would pop it on the back of my hand then apply to stop the spread of bacteria.
You can buy it here for £7.99.

I would love to know your thoughts on this concealer!

  1. I've been dying to try this! I like using concealers which have buildable coverage then you can work on how much you want rather than too much at once!

Good review lovely! I've added it to my list of things to buy!;)
