Today I am trying out a new way of sharing my looks with you. I attempted to take step by step pictures, to show the whole process, I am trying this for the first time so be kind! I love this purple and gold look, it is a perfect way of injecting in some colour and the gold really lightens the whole look, making the eye look bigger. I used mainly drugstore products, however I did also use the Urban Decay Naked 2 Paletter, which although isn't drugstore is is definitely worth the investment.

I started by going all over the lid with the shade Foxy (Naked 2). Then I softly swept the shade Coconuts About You* (The Body Shop) through the crease. I used the tiniest amount as I didn't want brown to be the dominant shade, I only used it to create a little depth.

Then I packed on the lighter shade from The Crushed Orchid Eyeshadow Duo (Avon). This made a pefect purple base and is so pigmented.

On the centre of the lid I patted on Half Baked (Naked 2). This is a gorgeous true gold shade, and goes perfectly with the purple.

Then on the perimetres of the lid I took the purple from 102 Colour Sphere (Kiko). This was quite a brown-y shade of purple, almost a maroon so I went over the top with shade 151 (Kiko). This lightened it up and added extra shimmer. I finished up by taking the darker shade of the Crushed Orchid Duo (Avon) and patting it along the upper and lower lash line. I finally did my brows using Brow and Liner Kit* in Shade 2 (The Body Shop).

I love how this turned out, and I am loving using all of my new products from Kiko and The Body Shop. I hope you enjoyed this look, I love creating them so look out for more!
