Unpopular opinion, I like New Years Resolutions... I think a lot more people make them than crack on and I love having a fresh start. I know if you want a change you can do it whenever, and I don't disagree with that. There's just something about a new year that motivates and inspires me.

Journal from Urban Outfitter - here

2016 has been a bit of a shit year, I think most people can agree on that. However there have been good parts and I really appreciate those moments. I want 2017 to have more amazing moments and less shite.

I'm going to stop holding myself back this year and just do stuff I want to do. There are so many things I don't do because of my anxiety, this past year I have made huge steps in getting better, but I can definitely work on this and improve further.

This year I'm also going to get my shit together. I am honestly sick of leaving work to the last minute and doing a rushed job. I want to be one of those people who just knows where they're going, you know what I mean? Or just appear like I do, ha!

I'm going to work on my photography. Photography is something I love to do, I just don't have a lot of patience. I am going to set aside time to really work on it and improve my skills.

I am also going to learn German. I did German for GCSE and did surprisingly well, ever since then I have kept trying to learn more, but I've got discouraged and quit whenever it got too hard. 2017 will be the year I don't quit and I actually learn German. People who can speak more than one language are amazing to me, I am so jealous!

Finally I want to work on my health and self care. This will be on almost everyone's New Years Resolution list, after the holidays I think we all need reevaluate our health, because most of us overdo it. A new year is as good a time as any to get back on the health train.

I would love to know what you're hoping to change in 2017. I hope you have a good one!
